@_@ they better have not put more monsters in Snake Dance, god damn it's hard enough as it is going up to Lornar's Pass *which I enjoy doing*.

Knowing Anet, they probably fixed it by putting more monsters...

they said "exploits"...
I've never run Lornar's Pass, nor have I had someone run me... but I seriously hope they didn't close the pass, that would suck. Making it harder would be kind of cool though

I can't remember a time when exploits didn't mean farming spots.
I mean I'm sure there was a few I just don't think I saw them first hand to comment. Just from my recollection, but my memory is hazy anyways so never mind...

Exploit in snake dance..which...is what? i mean its closed now, right? so it doesn't matter.
I would really like a clear definition of what Anet considers an exploit. not trying to be rude or anything..but, I've killed every creature in snake dance with henchies...and i have never seen an exploit. Thanks

I think that IS the exploit - god forbid there be a place where someone might go to farm hehehe.

No running from town to town once you've been to them
No deleveling
Can wear any level armor
Henchmen if you can't find a party
No food or potions to worry about
Instanced zones
I dunno it's pretty damn easy

I'll answer in a casual sense:
The first kind of exploit is one like the recent Shadow Self/Doppelganger exploit, where players found a way to abuse the mission in ways completely unintended, thus earning themselves 50,000 XP a shot. That was an exploit involving real people, but it had to be closed, and we did close it, and then banned the worst offenders (in numbers that could safely be called "a handful.")
The second type of exploit is a map or area or location that is likely to be abused by bots. You're probably aware that a few persistent players have decided that actively playing the game isn't their thing, but they want the rewards of doing so. So maybe they'd rather watch TV or engage in a rousing round of Mah Jong on another screen, but they're skewing the game economy by having a robotic minion play Guild Wars for them.
Well, come on, that's not how it's supposed to be!
When we become aware of a potential exploit, our intention isn't to stop farming. Farming's fine, for those who want to engage in it. I don't want to make the same chest run 43,237 times, but if you want to, really, it's ok. But a problem can arise because the same areas that you might play as a farmer, even repetitively (which is ok) are also the areas that are targeted by bots (which is not ok). We don't want someone to code a program that has a bot run a Explorable Area every 2 minutes, reaping huge amounts of gold, items, or both. But if we close that, please don't think we're targeting farmers. We're targeting bots, and the non-legitimate elements, and the potentially damaging factors that go along with bots.
And on the subject of farming, it's our goal to reduce the perceived need to farm. We'll continue to look into that, so that only those who truly enjoy farming will be doing it, and those who'd rather do something else can do that which they find to be the most fun.
Hope that helps!
